2024 MHHC IMPACT SCHOLARSHIP
Each year MHHC Foundation awards scholarships to deserving college-bound youths who embody the values of essential leadership, community service and pursuit of scholastic excellence. These values are critical indicators to a successful college career. Proceeds from the Annual Impact Awards Gala are designated to fund the Scholarship Program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a patient of MHHC, a child of a MHHC employee, or a student with a MHHC school based health center.
- Must be a graduating high school senior.
- Maintain a least 2.8 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. Please send in current transcript or end of the year transcript.
- Conduct at least 20 hours of community service with a local organization. Please verify by sending in Proof of community service hours.
- Must submit 2 letters of recommendations from teachers, religious leaders, or political representatives.
- Submission of a 4-5 page typed, double-spaced essay, size 12, Times New Roman Font, on (see essay prompt).
- Be accepted for admission at an approved accredited institution of higher education in a Program of study that leads to a degree.
- Provide a copy of the acceptance letter and certification of enrollment issued from a two or four year college or university
